Miss Emily Headland (DDE ISTD, NDD) - Principal

Emily has been dancing since the age of 4, performing in professional pantomimes and shows until her late teens. Emily got her first assisting job at the age of 13 and fell in love with the job straight away. Since then Emily studied dance at Amersham College covering a range of styles and gained a National Diploma in Dance. Emily then began to train as a dance teacher at Linda Sweetzers Teacher Training College, while also gaining her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare at a Nursery. Emily is still at Linda's College as she wants to continue to learn and grow as a teacher. While also running the dance school Emily still works at Hawthorne School of Dance in Windsor with Miss Lucy and is now the main Tap and Modern Teacher from Primary-Grade 4. Emily has entered countless students into ISTD Ballet, Tap & Modern exams all of which achieved 100% pass rate. Miss Emily is a mum & had our little mascot Elsie in 2018 (She also came back to work after 2 weeks because she missed her students).

Miss Chantelle Constable (DDI ISTD & Training DDE)

Chantelle has been dancing and performing since she was 3 years old and over the years has performed in numerous dance school shows. Chantelle has also performed in 4 professional pantomimes and two shows with the Russian Ballet. Chantelle studies at the Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training College and has gained her ISTD DDI and taken her practical exams for her DDE. Chantelle has recently started her own Blossom Ballet in Hayes and works at numerous other dance schools. Chantelle will be starting at EEDC in September, having worked with Miss Emily in Windsor for many years. Miss Emily & Chantelle have known each other for years as they trained at the same dance school from a young age. Chantelle met the students during the show and at Summer School and has become a quick favourite of parents and students.

Miss Annabel Mogey (DDE Training)

Annabel has trained in a wide variety of styles and genres giving her many performance opportunities over the years. Annabel has performed at Sadlers wells, Her Majesty's theatre and local theatres all over the UK. Annabel has just finished her Dance Degree at Gloucestershire. While getting her Degree Annabel has been doing her DDE modern and only has her theory to complete. Annabel is an amazing dancer having competed with her university in the Tap & Commercial teams. Annabel also has experience at National Star College working with disabled students. Miss Annabel has been as asset to the team and her classes are super high energy!

Miss Lucy Hawthorne (DDE ISTD; BA Hons)

The principle of Blossom Ballet, Hawthorne School of Dance and founder of Dance Intervention is Miss Lucy Hawthorne. Lucy is a highly experienced, enthusiastic dance practitioner and a sought after working professional within the performing arts industry. Lucy's extensive teaching credits include delivering workshops at The English National Ballet, teaching Street Dance on behalf of London Youth Dance and being appointed as an Associate Dance Artist for Sadlers Wells. Miss Lucy inspired Emily to have a school as amazing as hers. Lucy's school in Windsor - Hawthorne School of Dance - has over 500 students in her first 6 years.
